So this is my response to this article we read in class. Its about how Matt Baxter states how we are buying unnecessary technology in classes, such as in elementary and middle school. If you wish to learn more here is the site:

“In the younger grades, however, students are learning how to learn, they are learning how to get along with those ubiquitous human creatures that still populate the earth.” Yeah this is true kids especially in elementary schools. Kids are still learning there basses, and preparing for the beginnings of what they will be studying in future grades so why not use technology? He/She are going to be using technology regardless and have to understand the basses especially in the advancement of tech as it is progressing very quickly. As they get older tech is a must for jobs and school. It makes life easier and classes will be asking you to do projects and assignments on a computer; and if you have a hard time using the computer how are you going to be able to get any work done correctly?
“ Very little in these early grades needs to be digital, electronic or high def.” Technology is important, and some are accentual such as basic computers and projectors. Others such as silly weird tech, why would you need it. As long as it helps the teacher teach his students I think its can be used.
